Lifeline Challenge Connects Newcomers to Jobs

Finding a job is an important part of making a new country home. The Lifeline Challenge platform Powered by Magnet help connect Afghan and Ukrainian newcomers of all backgrounds and levels of experience to jobs.

Newcomers from Afghanistan and Ukraine can apply for these jobs through our specialized portals and find additional resources to support them.

To get started, follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit the Lifeline Afghanistan or Lifeline Ukraine job search portals below
  2. Create your free account Powered by Magnet as a job seeker
  3. Check your inbox for an account activation email, and click the link inside to activate your account
  4. Complete the onboarding process with your preferences and profile. Don’t forget to self identify as a newcomer to receive relevant opportunities and information.

With your account you can regularly view any job invitations you’ve received from employers in the system. You can also use the portal’s job search tool to search for jobs in the system as well as from other job boards like Indeed and Canada Job Bank.
